On day one, we took a two hour walk along the beach and the dune trail. We wrote in the sand, enjoyed the beautiful weather, and of course, took in the breathtaking views.
After our long walk, we prepared a very tasty supper and dessert and settled in with a movie.

On day two, we took another walk on the beach, toured the Grays Harbor Lighthouse (tallest in the state), visited the Westport Maritime Museum and Lighthouse exhibit, walked along the marina, and went out for a tasty seafood dinner!
Back at the condo, we enjoyed another beautiful sunset!
On our way home, we visited the Capitol building in Olympia. Senate was in session, so that was an added bonus.
All in all, it was an excellent vacation and I am terribly sad that the weekend is over. I am sure I will cheer up soon :) Look on the bright side, I start my new job on Saturday!

What a fun weekend! I have an Aunt and Uncle who live in Westport and it's one of my favorite places to visit (although it's been WAY too long since I've been out there). They live above their shop right there on main street.
