Pogo Sweets

Ms. Pogo has taken over adjusted to her new house.  She kindly wakes us up every morning meowing for food and in the middle of the night to snuggle.  I am sure you will be surprised to hear that she is spoiled and well loved.  She is such a sweetheart and loves meeting new people so if you haven't met her yet, come on over :)

ND Part V: The Main Event

The main reason for our trip, other than to see family of course, was to attend Heather and Andrew's wedding.  What a celebration!  We kicked it off the night before with a pig roast which of course was delicious.

The ceremony was held in historic Richardton's St Mary's Catholic Church.  

Thank God I am not a wedding photographer because I would not be hired, but here are some of the moments that I tried to capture.

North Dakota weddings are always so much fun!  So glad we could make it :)  Congratulations to Andrew and Heather, I know that you will be happy together for a lifetime.

ND Part IIII: Medora Musical

The Medora Musical is a must-see show for travelers through the great state of North Dakota.  Many family nights have been spent here throughout our lives so it always brings back fond memories.  This year, we were accompanied by the bride and groom to-be, bride's family, and cousins Kari & Bruce, with Raylee and Megan of course.

Another beautiful North Dakota sunset.  The musical is in an outdoors amphitheatre on a hilltop overlooking the badlands and near Teddy Roosevelt National Park which you saw in my last post.

Pogo!

Welcome to the newest member of our household: Ms. Pogo.  We adopted Pogo last night from the humane society.  She is a 7 year old tabby with a sweet and loving personality.  She loves attention and companionship ... just what I love about cats :)

Here are a few pics of day 1. We may decide to change her name eventually but haven't decided quite yet.

Welcome to our home, Pogo!

ND: Part III, Teddy Roosevelt Nat'l Park

Medora is such a fun town.  Tyler and I ventured out early one morning to the Teddy Roosevelt National Park.  It was so beautiful.  I don't ever remember seeing so much wildlife and definitely will plan to visit in the morning on any return trips I make.

I think that sums up our beautiful morning drive through the park.  So glad we saw all that we did.

Happy Belated Halloween!

The first halloween in the new house went well.  I had hoped for more trick-or-treaters but we'll take what we can get.  We carved pumpkins with Myles and Michelle...sorry for the bad picture with Tyler's eyes closed but you get the picture.

At the office we dressed up which was fun. I intended to be a pumpkin but Kate more accurately described me as the "spirit of halloween".  Here we have a ghost buster, Margo from Despicable Me, a witch and a cowgirl.
